The Loch-Eel Monster can be found in Lake Bumbunga at the town of Lochiel on the Princes Hwy, just before Snowtown.

There is plenty of parking and if the lake is dry you can easily walk to see the monster up close. If the lake has water and conditions are right, algae that feed on the salts give it a vivid pink colour.

The current new monster is referred to as Lochie and was installed in after the head and other parts of the original Loch-Eel Monster were vandalised and stolen. The monster is around 4m high and 10m long and well worth a stop to see.
