The water tank is located adjacent to the Avoca Reservoir in Tasmania’s east and the artwork was completed in 2023. Sponsered by TasWater, the tank features a Wedge-Tailed Eagle on one side of the tank and a landscape scene depicting the dolorite pillars of Stacks Bluff which is located in the Ben Lomond National Park on the other.
Artist James ‘Kreamart’ Cowan completed the painting of the Wedge-Tailed Eagle while Artist Harrison Bowe completed the landscape. The two artists completed the works over a seven day period through all weather conditions during the winter in June of 2023
